As part of strengthening international cooperation and supporting the investment portfolio in the Kurdistan Region, a delegation from the United Organizations and the International Federation of Businessmen and Businesswomen paid an official visit to the Consulate General of the United Arab Emirates in Erbil. The delegation was headed by Dr. Majed Al-Rukabi, Secretary-General of the United Organizations, and Mr. Imad Rukabi, Secretary-General of the International Federation of Businessmen and Businesswomen, along with the accompanying delegation.
The meeting included in-depth discussions on investment opportunities and strategic projects in the Region, and highlighted the role of the International Federation of Businessmen and Businesswomen as a key gateway for businessmen, businesswomen, and investors—contributing to a sustainable economic environment and high-quality public-private partnerships.
The parties also agreed to lay the foundations for launching the largest international investment conference, in cooperation between the UAE Consulate and the International Federation of Businessmen and Businesswomen, in addition to supporting entrepreneurs and innovative projects and opening new horizons for economic and development cooperation.
His Excellency Consul Ahmed Al Shehhi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Federation and the United Organizations, affirming his commitment to supporting the Federation’s projects and future initiatives in a way that strengthens UAE–Kurdistan partnership and translates it into tangible projects on the ground.
